In 1999 rights to update and
publish Burke's Landed Gentry became
available. After a gap of thirty years, a
team of genealogists worked to produce
the 19th edition of Burke's Landed
Gentry, Volume 1, Kingdom in Scotland.
This was published in August 2001 as a
printed book and online database. English
and Welsh articles from the 18th edition
are available online and are currently
being updated as we receive family
information. At that point our new
company was formed and named Burke's
Landed Gentry.
